Since I feel this movie is underappreciated, I decided to make a blog about it! 24/7 Nausicaa with some Studio Ghibli news mixed in. Feel free to submit anything!
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (Kaze no tani no Naushika, 1984) was produced before Studio Ghibli was initially established. A young warrior princess Nausicaa, tries to find peace between warring humans and giant insects named Ohmu who dominate the planet. The humans want to destroy the Ohmu, and the Ohmu want to protect the earth by thriving in poisonous forests. Amidst the chaos, a lone legend of a blue-clad flying warrior begins....
